										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Optimising the layout of your CRM is crucial to your goal of an easy and intuitive CRM experience for your users.  It helps with user adoption and it improves efficiency bbut having the right information at the right time.  Learn how to modify the sub-panel layout in SugarCRM mobile.</p>
<h2>I can&#8217;t find a way to change the order.  How is it done?</h2>
<p>If you&#8217;re not familiar with changing the sub-panel order for the <span style="text-decoration: underline;">desktop experience</span> of Sugar, you can do this by navigating to <strong>Admin &gt; Display Modules and Subpanels.</strong></p>

<h2>There are two things wrong with this.</h2>
<ol>
<li> This only changes the Desktop version, not the Sugar Mobile app.</li>
<li>This is a &#8216;global&#8217; setting for <strong>all subpanels in all modules</strong>.  This is not module specific sorting.</li>
</ol>
<h3>If you&#8217;re looking for a way to modify the sorting of the sub-panels on the mobile layout for the Android and iPhone apps &#8211; then we have to address this with a little bit of code.</h3>
<p>Sugabyte can create an installable customisation (installed via the Module Loader tool) which can do two things:</p>
<p>Re-arrange the subpanels on the Mobile App (for each module).  And Re-arrange the subpanel order for the desktop version of Sugar (again for each module).</p>

<p>This latest SugarCRM Mobile release adds the ability to import image or file attachments (e.g. .doc, .pdf, .xls, .jpg) from emails to the Notes module, as well as fixes for a number of issues identified in prior releases. <p>SugarCRM Mobile 5.2.0 is compatible with Sugar 7.7 and above. For information about what is new in SugarCRM Mobile 5.0.0, please review SugarCRM Mobile 5.0.0 released! in the community.</p>
<p>All existing installations of the SugarCRM Mobile will be upgraded through phone or tablet&#8217;s native upgrade functionality. Alternatively, upgrades can be performed by searching for &#8220;SugarCRM Mobile&#8221; in the application store for your device or using the following links:</p>

<p>If you need to make a call while on the road, it really couldn’t be easier. All you need to do is find the contact, prospect or lead in CRM and select the “Call” button, from there you have the choice of selecting the office phone or their mobile number for example and this will then call out directly from Sugar, no more having to search for the number or copy and paste from email signatures. Once the call has come to an end Sugar will ask if you would like to log this against the record, if you choose to do so then Sugar will auto-fill most of the information such as call date and time all that you are required to do is enter your notes into the description, however, you don’t even need to type this as SugarCRM mobile supports the voice to text function available on Apple and Android mobile devices.</p>

<h2>3. YOU DON’T NEED TO SEARCH FOR A SIGNAL HOTSPOT</h2>

<p>Unlike other solutions available SugarCRM mobile allows users to store their data offline directly onto their device, which in a world where blackout zones are still part of some people’s daily life, this is a great help. Even when you are offline you will always have the ability to access key information and create records. When your device leaves the blackout and regains connection to the world wide web Sugar will then sync in the background without any input needed from the mobile user.</p>

<p>In certain situations, it may be necessary to the mobile user, out in the field, to need to upload an image or file. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>SugarCRM has officially released SugarCRM Mobile 4.1.0!</strong></p>
<p>This latest release addresses bugs identified in prior releases and includes the following new features and enhancements to the offline record download functionality:</p>
<ul>
<li>Users logging in for the first time will be prompted to download their records for offline access.</li>
<li>Bulk download of records for offline access is performed in the background so that the mobile app can be used simultaneously. The download process will be suspended upon closing the mobile app and resume after re-launching the app.</li>
<li>The number of records which can be downloaded per module has increased to 3,000 for the Accounts and Contacts modules and 1,000 for all other modules.</li>
<li>Less important records are purged from the database once a module’s offline record limit has been reached.</li>
</ul>
<p>We have also made the following <a class="jive-link-external-small" href="https://community.sugarcrm.com/external-link.jspa?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsupport.sugarcrm.com%2FResources%2FSupported_Platforms%2FMobile_Supported_Platforms%2Findex.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">compatibility</a> updates:</p>
<ul>
<li><sup><strong>Updated </strong></sup>SugarCRM Mobile 4.1.0 is now only supported for use with <strong>Sugar 7.7</strong> and above.</li>
